DC - DC Converters: Rack-Mount

Wilmore rack-mount DC to DC converters operate from 12, 24, 48, 60, 125, and 130 volt DC power sources. Designed for use with 19 and 23 inch equipment racks, these power converters provide isolated, regulated DC outputs ideal for powering telecommunications equipment, SCADA networks and other electronics.

Examples of our rack-mount DC - DC converters are shown below. Please scroll down for descriptions of these products and links to the Product Bulletins.

200 and 400 Watt Single-Output DC - DC Converters (1U)

These single-output converters provide a well-regulated DC output voltage from station batteries or other widely fluctuating DC sources. This output is galvanically isolated from the source and chassis and, therefore, may be connected either as a positive or a negative output. Applications include powering radio transceivers, telecommunications equipment, supervisory control systems and other critical electronic loads.

Designed for rack mounting, these state-of-the-art converters achieve superior electrical performance in a low profile enclosure. Conservatively rated and very efficient, Series 1720/1760 converters will operate continuously at any load within their rating over a wide ambient temperature range with simple convection cooling. They are available with (Series 1760) or without (Series 1720) front-panel output meters, and additional standard options let users adapt converters to specific system requirements, including paralleling for redundancy and for additional power.

Series 1720 / 1760 DC - DC Converters

  • 12, 24, 48, and 130 VDC input voltages
  • 12, 24, and 48 VDC output voltages
  • Highly efficient (90%) and convection cooled
  • Can be paralleled for redundancy and/or additional power
  • New!Available with or without DC output meters

400 Watt Dual-Output DC - DC Converters (1U)

Series 1722 DC-to-DC converters provide well-regulated DC output voltages from station batteries or other widely fluctuating DC sources. Each output is galvanically isolated from the source, the chassis and the other output and, therefore, may be connected either as a positive or a negative output. Applications include powering radio transceivers, telecommunications equipment, supervisory control systems and other critical electronic loads.

Designed for rack mounting, these state-of-the-art converters achieve superior electrical performance in a low profile enclosure. Conservatively rated and very efficient, Series 1722 converters will operate continuously at any load within their rating over a wide ambient temperature range with simple convection cooling.

Series 1722 DC - DC Converters

  • Two independent, 200 watt outputs
  • Output voltage combinations: 12, 24, and 48 VDC
  • 24, 48, and 130 VDC input voltages
  • Efficient and convection-cooled

200 Watt Fault-Tolerant DC - DC Converters (1U)

Designed for critical lower-power applications requiring the back-up/redundant features often found in larger DC power systems, Series 1721 DC-to-DC converters provide redundant-power reliability in a small, economical package. Two independent converters are housed in a single 1.75”-high rack-mount enclosure, with integral output OR-ing diodes for each converter to prevent faults within one converter from affecting the other. Although this dual-converter unit can be operated from a single DC source, provision is also made for dual input feeds, allowing users to provide truly redundant power to radio transceivers, telecommunications equipment, supervisory control systems and other critical electronic loads, all within a single vertical rack space.

These converters provide a well-regulated DC output voltage from station batteries or other widely fluctuating DC sources. This output is galvanically isolated from the source and chassis and, therefore, may be connected either as a positive or a negative output. Conservatively rated and very efficient, Series 1721 converters will operate continuously at any load within their rating over a wide ambient temperature range with simple convection cooling.

Series 1721 DC - DC Converters

  • Fault-tolerant, dual redundant design
  • 24, 48, and 130 VDC input voltages
  • 12, 24, and 48 VDC output voltages
  • Efficient and convection-cooled

High Isolation Single-Output DC - DC Converters (1U)

These single-output converters supply a well-regulated DC output voltage while providing a high-voltage (2,200VAC) isolation between input to output and input to chassis. This output is galvanically isolated from the source and chassis and, therefore, may be connected either as a positive or a negative output. Applications include powering radio transceivers, telecommunications equipment, supervisory control systems and other electronic loads requiring a high degree of electrical isolation from the DC source.

Series 1723 DC - DC Converters

  • 2,000 VAC Isolation (input to output and input to chassis)
  • 12 or 24 VDC input voltages
  • 12, 24 and 48 VDC output voltages
  • Highly efficient (85%) and convection cooled

Dimensions given in inches (mm):

  • Height 1.75”(44.45) 1 rack space
