Current Employment Opportunities:

We are seeking an engineer with appropriate skills, education and experience to manage the day-to-day activities of a small (< 10 employees), dedicated technical staff tasked with product development, design review, documentation and customer support.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide leadership to the technical staff through mentoring, training, and managing the activities of the team.
  • Become actively involved in daily operations and product design efforts as needed to further the creation of new products, meet schedules, and resolve complex problems or issues as they arise.
  • Develop, organize, prioritize, and assign engineering objectives and responsibilities consistent with goals established through direct coordination with Marketing/Sales, Manufacturing, and Procurement functions of the company.

Required Qualifications/Attributes:

  • Four-year degree in an Engineering or Physics discipline
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly flexible manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications/Attributes:

  • BSEE or advanced Electrical Engineering degree with analog design experience
  • Working knowledge of solid-state power conversion principles and topologies
  • 8+ years of engineering management experience

We are seeking a technically adept marketing/sales manager with the analytical skills to direct the day-to-day activities of a small in-house staff tasked with marketing Wilmore's capabilities and selling its products to new and existing customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide leadership to the Marketing/Sales staff through mentoring, training, and managing the activities of the team.
  • Become actively involved in daily operations and marketing/sales efforts as needed to further the development of new markets and recognition of new product opportunities.
  • Manage the company's customer relationship functions, product cost/pricing reviews and contractual review processes.
  • Develop, organize, prioritize, and assign marketing tasks in coordination with other senior managers.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and procurement functions of the company to meet customer expectations and contractual obligations.

Required Qualifications/Attributes:

  • Four-year degree in an Engineering or Physics discipline (or commensurate technical experience)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Skilled in analytical thinking - collecting, analyzing and structuring information from a wide perspective to identify market opportunities matching the company's core strengths

We are seeking an engineer with appropriate experience in analog circuit design and with the imagination, interest and overall problem-solving ability to make strong contributions to the conception and development of new products.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform and participate in the electrical, mechanical and thermal design of high-efficiency power conversion products, including dc-dc converters, dc-ac inverters and custom-designed switching power supplies.
  • Collaborate with other members of the technical staff to conceptualize new products, optimize design/production methods and resolve complex problems or issues as they arise.
  • Provide mentorship to other technical staff-in-training
  • Work with production personnel to shepherd new products into the manufacturing environment
  • Provide technical support for marketing and customer service efforts.

Necessary Qualifications/Attributes:

  • Four-year or post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or commensurate educational background
  • Solid-state power conversion or analog circuit design expertise
  • Self-starting, reliable and creative
  • Ability to work in a highly flexible manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications/Attributes:

  • 5+ years of relevant circuit design experience
  • Good understanding of mechanical/thermal packaging
  • Well-versed in high-frequency magnetics design
